Welcome, welcome everybody to Top Line Live at Five. My name is Brian Devine here with Top Line. And today, I am so excited about this new technology that I’m even wearing the shirt today, but I have got to tell you about this. This new technology is crazy and at first glance you start thinking, this is a little creepy and then as you start diving into it, you start going, we can really use this. So let me walk back and explain why I’m so excited. Now, we had been playing with different tools and services and technology around delivering what are called display ads.
Now, display ads are those little ads in there. You can, it can be like a box. Sometimes they’re long, but you’re going to see them all over the Internet. You’ll see them on all of your favorite websites. All of the major websites will have what are called display ads and the latest technology from the last year or so is what’s called real-time bidding. And with real-time bidding, every time someone likes you, someone like me actually goes to a website as the website loads. It is literally bidding on which ads to display based on the information that my browser history about me and my Internet service provider have about me and my family. So it’s kind of crazy just at that level. However, it gets even more amazing and this is really new, so I want people to know about it and if you have questions, I want to talk about it. This is truly amazing, but essentially we now have the ability to say, we want to show the ads for the people that are actually in this location right now.
And that means that when somebody goes to, let’s say a competitor’s practice and you want to maybe offer them a second opinion, you can actually show their ad, show your second opinion ads while they’re sitting in that office. That’s partly why I want to get way in front of this so that my clients are not the ones being targeted. My clients are the ones that are doing the targeting and are safe. This is amazing when you really think about what this can do. Let’s say you are a dentist and you would like to do more implants and you know that there’s someone in your market that is spending a lot of time, effort, and money marketing implants in your area. Well, you can decide now to just piggyback off of that and anyone that goes to their practice is going to very likely who’s sitting on their phone looking at things and reading news and things like that, the weather, all of that. While they’re waiting for their appointment and while they’re doing that on their phones, your second opinion and can show up.
Now, here’s where it gets amazing because just that it is kind of crazy, but yes, we can do it. Where it gets amazing is because of the fact that they looked at that ad on their phone in that practice, which is not yours, it’s someone else’s. We actually now have the Advertiser ID of their phone and we can now follow them everywhere they go with your second opinion and or your next offer so you can actually change the ads so that it goes to an offer ad to get them to come in and get that second opinion. If you were thinking about implants, here’s a screaming deal that we have right now so you can actually display that only to the people that have been in the practice that you know is actively marketing for implants.
So again, that’s why I want this for my clients, whether we like it or not, this is happening, this is coming. And I want my clients in front of this particular software so that we can lock it down and we really can lock it down. There aren’t thousands of companies doing this. There are really a very small number of companies doing this. And once you lock down an area, no one else can have it. So you locked down to your office and the officers that you want to target and then nobody else can do that. And that’s really what this is about and that’s why I wanted to get it out there and why I’m so excited about it. And I want you to also think that. So now we know the Phone ID of this person that is an ideal candidate to come to your practice.
Well, because we have their Phone ID, we can now follow them everywhere they go online. It is now a retargeting opportunity. So it’s no longer because they’re in that practice. It is now we’ve got them because they were in there, and now we can follow them everywhere else. And that includes their laptop or their desktop, their iPad, and yes, even in their computer because they’re all connected these days. So that one ID, because they were sitting in that one office now, connects you to everything else they have and do. And you can now display your second opinion ad everywhere they go. That is amazing. Now I want you to also think, hey, if you’re an orthodontist, what would it be like to imagine being able to actually display your ads, your either your second opinion adds to your biggest competitors or you come on in for a free consult to all of the pediatric dentists in your area that maybe they used to refer. And now they’ve hired somebody in or they no longer refer whatever the reason may be.
There is now an amazing opportunity in front of you. If you’re a chiropractor and you’ve got a huge box office, that is it. Just getting a ton of patients going there and you know you can do a better job for a very specific type of treatment center ads for that treatment to those offices and give them a reason to come to you. And this is sort of mind-blowing at. I can’t get over it. Now if you’re thinking, I don’t want to play that game. I don’t want to show my ads there. Well, here’s the other thing that this software is capable of now. Rather than just saying, we want to show your ads of all of the health style websites, and we can still do what was called a geofence where we target only a certain area around your office that we could always do. But now we’re able to target specific data because of the fact that we now know that we have the information about their phone. All of this data is being tracked on their phone, which means that you will know if you want to target, let’s say women between the ages of 28 and 55 with families, with children that have a specific income that lives within a certain radius of your office. You can now do that, and again, this is sort of creepy when you think really long and hard that while this is happening to us, this is happening. Whether you like it or not, let’s take advantage of it.
