Welcome, welcome, welcome everybody to Top Line Live at Five. My name is Brian here with Top Line. And today, we’re going to be talking about the ability for you to have live chat on your website. I want to get some feedback from you because we have some clients that have used the monthly service from other companies. It’s not something that we’ve really considered doing, but we do have an alternative. But before I get to that, I want to know if you can give me some feedback. Let me know if you’ve used those tools where somebody is actually from another company handling your online live chats. And what that means is that when somebody goes to your website and have a little chat button and they usually with the managed companies, what they do is they kind of push it out and then that pops up and says, would you like to chat with someone live?

And then there is an actual live agent there who hopefully has a basic script from you. Some really good to a simple frequently asked questions. So that they really know what they’re going to answer and I know that there are companies that specialize in different healthcare avenues, so hopefully there’s somebody good, but I love to get some feedback from you on what you’ve seen and hasn’t had a real positive impact. Is it worth the monthly investment? Because like I said, this is something that we don’t particularly offer. We just try to find good people to have sent our clients to. Something that has been on my radar for about two years now. We’ve used it for a few clients here and there and actually a few of the clients that we’ve used it for have absolutely loved this.

This alternative to a managed solution and that is to have a Live Chat feature built right into your website that you can just have anyone on your team managed for you. And what’s the reason that I haven’t hunted, bring it up today is because in the last few months they have added the ability to make it so that it will work on your mobile phone and on your desktop. So that means that you don’t even have to be logged into your website to know if somebody would like to chat. The other thing that I really like about this tool is that it will push the chat to someone that is on a particular page. So in other words, if you have somebody that is on a Contact Us page and maybe they’d been there for a little while, you can actually push a little, this is Bryan.

Is there anything that you would like to know? It looks like you’re thinking about contacting us, anything along those lines. And you can do this right within your office and you don’t have to pay a third party in order to manage it. It is really simple and straightforward. This is called WP live chat. If you would like to use this yourself, please feel free and then give me some feedback on what you like. Don’t like all that good stuff. If you’d like help, we actually do. Depending on the type of website you have, we can help install it and get it all set up for you, but it’s a one-time thing, right? There‚Äôs no management fee, there’s no ongoing costs. So there are some real advantages for you along those lines.

Now, the reason that I brought this up, but I mentioned is this part here, mobile and desktop app and what that means is even if you’re thinking I don’t want my front desk to have to log into the website and make sure that they’re always in there and then you can actually mark when you’re live and when you’re not alive, it gets a little confusing. And the officers that we’ve had use it that really used it, they love it and we also have had offices and we installed it and they just never really turned it on. I wasn’t, it wasn’t something that worked for them, but the ones that loved it; really loved it. And when I realized that you can now have it as a desktop app, meaning it’s just sitting there on your desktop and when somebody pops onto your website and maybe has a question, it will let you know so it can interrupt your day instead of interrupting their day.

And that is really what it is that you’re looking for, is the ability to just have a conversation and make it easy for everyone involved. So check this out. I’m WP live chat. Again, this is the one that we have used. It has great support. They have been around for quite some time and that there is no monthly ongoing fee. Now, there are certain requirements for your website. Number one is that it has to be a word press website. It also needs to have a decent hosting company. So if you’re using sort of like a super low end hosting might really slow down your site and that could end up being an issue down the road. But that’s certainly easy enough to fix. So anyway, I wanted to make sure that I talked to you all about this because I think this is a really interesting opportunity.

Like I said, we can help you with it. There are no long-term fees that go along with it. We can just help you install it and see how it works for you. So let me know your thoughts, your questions or concerns, but I really think this is sort of the direction that I want to see people go. Because again, you’ve probably heard me say this before, that a lead today, someone who is interested in your service, the best way to get that lead is to have a conversation with them right then and there and that means on their phone, in front of their computer, their laptop, their iPad, and if you could have a live chat conversation right there from your website and then give them an offer. Give them a reason to come in and you’ve got somebody that’s just interacting right there on the spot and it was a really great opportunity.
