Welcome, welcome, welcome everybody to Top Line Live at Five. My name is Brian Devine here with Top Line. And today, we’re going to be talking about video marketing and not just video marketing in general because you’ve probably heard me talk about it plenty. You’re going to hear me talking about it plenty more because it is so important, but what I’m going to cover today is not just video marketing, but what are some things that you can do right now that are quick, easy, inexpensive, so you can start taking advantage of video marketing so that your practice can grow using all the tools available to you.

Now, what am I talking about I want to make sure you know that video marketing does not have to mean standing in front of a camera like I am right now and you know I’ve been playing around with this new audio setup and I’m still trying to figure out how to make it sound good but not look really weird to have the sticker next to my face. You don’t have to do that. What you can do is turn any image or any article that you’ve written and turned that into a video. Now, when I say image, what I mean is that if you have images of your practice, you can go and create videos from it. And that means you can use tools like Animoto, animoto.com is a great simple way to use images to create a slideshow. We talked about adobe spark, which is a free tool that works really well if you use Animoto, I do recommend that you get the commercial license just to be safe. You don’t want to use their free tool and then use it in your practice. And that’s why I like the adobe spark because there is a free service. It’s just designed for you to use it. So you can certainly do that.

There are many, many tools that you can use where you can just create slideshows. And then, you don’t even have to do the audio, you can just put some music behind it, makes sure that you have the rights to use them, that music. There are plenty of places, story block.com is one of the places where you can get great audio, and they have audio, a video, and an image, a part of their whole, their whole website. So play around with that and if you’re thinking I don’t have time for even doing that, all you have to do is go to fiverr.com and let them create something for you. Now, fiverr.com used to be pretty much $5 for just about anything you could imagine today, not so much. You’re probably going to be looking at about 10 or $15, which is still incredibly cheap when you think about it because it’s not taking up any of your time. It’s not taking up any of your staff’s time and is getting done and that is the key is having videos done so that you are found on YouTube.

YouTube is the number two search engine on the planet. You should be there. I don’t want you to forget that. It also means that you can optimize those videos so that you get found in Google. Google actually will display videos for certain keywords. Now, your area and your keyword targets and all, there’s all these different nuances that go into whether or not Google is ever going to show a video in their search results, but don’t miss the opportunity and there are things that we can do to kind of tease Google into putting a video out there.

Now, what else can you do? We’ve talked about this before. Create a video from your reviews. This is extremely powerful because you are now taking the reviews that are being found on Google, on Facebook, yelp, wherever, and you’re creating a video from them and you can do image based. You can do just text based. You can do voiceover is not. I mean, there are all these different things you can do, but I want you thinking about how you can be doing this on a regular basis. You know, at the very least once a month has something go out. Let’s say you have a blog article or even maybe you’ve hired a company to write content and put that out on your website. That can be turned into a video as well. So grab a couple of images from storyblock. Throw it into a tool like spark or animoto and create a video. If you are willing and capable and happy to or you have somebody on your team that can stand in front of a camera like this, that’s going to be even better and if you even do on your phone and you can do Facebook live like we’re doing today, you can actually walk around on your phone, connected to your Wi-Fi. It might be a little bit spotty, but more often than not because phones are designed for that. Not computers. Phones are really designed for this kind of streaming. They do very well. You can give somebody a tour of your office just holding the phone and you can just grab like a little a holder. They have ones that will cause it to kind of rotate on its own so it won’t feel like you’re kind of, you know, moving all around and give people a tour.

So there are all kinds of reasons and ways to do video and to make it engaging and compelling so that people will either engage with the video that will interact, that will share or that will decide when the time is right to call and schedule an appointment to come see in your practice. All right, that’s what I wanted to cover today. I hope you found some value. Let me know what questions you have and I’ve looked forward to seeing you next time on Top Line Live at Five. That’s it for me. Bye for now.
